There was a time when conservatism held at it's core fiscal responsibility; however, that age is long expired and Republican administrations have replaced that with reckless spending and sheer ignorance. So don't sit on a soap box and simply rattle off all the problems America currently has because what you end up doing is make everyone (with a memory better than a goldfish) realise that all those global issues were failed through Republican administrations who were reluctant to change and adapt to the rest of the world. Hell the rest of the world is still waiting for America to go metric for crying out loud.
