Is ozone layer depletion (due to CFCs) an outdated environmental issue or still a big problem?

Do you think more action is needed or has the Montreal Protocol done enough? Is ozone layer depletion (due to CFCs) an outdated environmental issue or still a big problem? That problem was solved. Which shows that we can come together when it needs to be done. Fortunately there were no teabaggers then.Is ozone layer depletion (due to CFCs) an outdated environmental issue or still a big problem?I am only answering here to see if answers to this sort of question are allowed because I have asked questions like this only to have ZERO answers come along so I have my conspiracy suspicions. Blah...

Good luck and I'm also trying to find out answers to the same question.

Edit - Wow, you are actually getting answers, no science but at least acknowledgment. CO dude.Is ozone layer depletion (due to CFCs) an outdated environmental issue or still a big problem? The Montreal Protocol was enough. If it is kept, then the ozone layer should be back to its original levels within the next 50 years. Is ozone layer depletion (due to CFCs) an outdated environmental issue or still a big problem?
Propellants, Styrofoam and most refrigerants have now been replaced so for the most part the problem was pretty effectively dealt with, however the western world agreed to help China with funding to replace its halocarbon industry in the formation of the Montreal Protocol. So far China has not received that help and its halocarbon industry and CFC refrigerants are again growing so it may become a problem again.
