overpopulation, i think it is unfair we control animal populations but not human populations. Even if we have to resort to killing people there are a lot of sick people in huge pain, just because their family members can't let them go who probably want to die. If we will be able to let these people go we wouldn't have to pay as much to hospitals and that money could be sent to provide food to people in 3rd world countries.Teens do you care about the environment + short survey?

Do you believe in global warming? (If not then why) No, it has been proven that the earth is heating at approximately 1.3 degrees yearly, on average, which, after an ice age, is the common level of heat restoration. It is not near as warm as it was before any previous epoch between ice ages, therefore, we are currently on the appropriate track for the temperature. As to whether or not this is beneficial to the human species by their valued temperature, is another story.
Would you be prepared to take fewer car and airplane journeys so as to reduce CO2 emissions? Yeah, because regardless of that not actually being as much as a greenhouse gas as everyone believes (yet is still one), it is more appropriate for the air condition.

Well yeah i would, especially if it's really cool are cold out (winter, spring) i could ride a bike!
But if it's really hot, or i have to go somewhere really far away, then i'd drive a car.

Yes, global warming is certainly a reality.
No, because it doesn't make sense. You just asked one person to take fewer car and airplane journeys. Even if one less person buys a ticket the plane is still going to fly without me and I travel by bus so it's the same thing.
There are too many environmental issues to choose one solely to be responsible on solving. But if I had to choose one it would be global warming.
I definately care about the environment. I try to limit habits that negatively effect the environment and I try to unplug electronic devices and recycle..etc

In school, we are at our Chemistry unit, and yes, I'm in math if that counts at all.
Nope. Global warming is just a new way to freak us out. The Earth has been heating up and cooling down for thousands of years, and right now may be a cool spell that we are currently warming up from. This is just since they got the idea to study temperatures and such, so how would they know? Thats right, they don't.
Heck no, I'm not letting some idiot tell me where I can and can't go. This is supposed to be a free country!
What problem? I understand things in L.A. and other large cities like smog and runoff, but couldn't they just slow down on the production or find a better way to do it if its that bad?
