Why are Americans sooooo concerned about the Seal culling?

Well, sure its "not nice", but I'm sorry, these seals ARE eating all the fish....



Of course, the American "humane" societies say "Well if all the fish are dead, why aren't the seals dead?"



But the fact is, the seals only eat enough to satisfy themselves; which leaves very little for the humans. Thats why theres a bunch of Newfies sitting on the east coast UNEMPLOYED and SUCKING UP THE CASH... Its like a black hole over there...



Anyways, I have a couple of questions to ask:



1. Do you live by a pack of rude and invasive seals?



2. Do the seals cause environmental problems in your area? (Ours get ground up in large propellers on big boats)



3. Have you ever been attacked by a seal when out in a kayak





Unless you answered "yes" to these questions, well, you have no idea what seals are REALLY like...Why are Americans sooooo concerned about the Seal culling?1. no, but humans are invading there territory

First off, you freaking french speaking wuss who can't drive. We aren't overly concerned about seals, I actually have no idea what you are talking about, there is more in the world to worry about such as the impending hurricaine season, rising gas prices, the upcoming retard election next year. We dont' have time to worry about seals that you apparently like to grind up in your boat prop.

Secondly nearly 4,000 Americans have died in the "stupid little crusade" in Iraq. I don't see your Canadian Army doing anything to help..well anything. Is that because they are wussy girls, or just too fat and lazy to get up off their French derrieres and do something? If you dislike it so much, stop watching T.V, or would that just make your life completely pointless? Do us a favor and keep your retarded French speaking butt on YOUR side of the continent. And tell your fellow Canadians that it gets really annoying when they travel down here and clog up the roads because they don't know the difference between kilometers and miles per hour...get what I'm talking "aboot"?

Well, I answered no to all your questions so I guess I will need to use logic instead of emotion to answer your question.



Although I do say part of your argument doesn鈥檛 make much sense. You mention the seals are eating all the fish. But in the next sentence you acknowledge, "the seals only eat enough to satisfy themselves; which leaves very little for the humans." So they aren't really overeating. Also it's not really like they can live out of the water, so I guess you have to deal with them in the water.



Now, because I answered now to your questions I'll have to give you the benefit of the doubt that they are quite a nuisance. Is it the large number of seals that are the issue, and not simply that you just don鈥檛 think they should be there at all? If it鈥檚 the large number I guess I would have to agree that something would need to be done. I live in Minnesota and we have serious problems with deer. They run across the road and cause many accidents and injuries. Because of it the huge increasing deer population the number of deer allowed to be hunted per trip and/or season has increased to try to slim the population down.



I personally am an animal lover so I don鈥檛 want any animals harmed or killed for no reason. But I鈥檓 also a logical person that if the animals are causing, not only an inconvenience, but injury or damage then there may need to be something done.Why are Americans sooooo concerned about the Seal culling?sometimes we have to cull animals because of overpopulation, but do we have to be so brutal about it.
