Problems caused by ethanoic (acetic) acid?

i'm writing a report on the use of aspirin, and for an environmental issue i was going to say that in the manufacturing of aspirin, one of the products made is also ethanoic acid. But i need a problem (preferably environmental) that is caused by ehanoic acid?
