What can our generation do to fix the problems it, and the generations before us, have created?
Whether or not we are avid enough to accept it: as the younger generation we are going to face problems generations previous can scarcely understand. We have reached a paramount of human storytelling, and of originality in thought. This leads us to a plateau, a tantamount of creativity. With social, economic, and environmental problems mounting, we absolutely must answer with our own thoughts and words and images, not the thoughts of those that have come before us. I normally focus on cinema, the fact that we have ushered an age of unoriginal sequels and sagas, where art is made only to make money, and anything otherwise is quickly bought out or squashed. However, all forms of art must be considered, cinema is merely the newest and most advanced medium by which we can effect the masses. What can our generation do to fix the problems it, and the generations before us, have created?First, people need to recognize their need for God. people need to realize that earth is not the final frontier- eternity is. Life is not valued by the monuments we build to ourselves, but by the works of love we do in each others lives, knowing that we are ultimately answerable to a creator (God) for how we treated each other. There is a great book called the Bible which has the answers to a much greater life while we are here. It is a gift to all generations. To know that, believe it and act upon it will be the salvation of mankind here and beyond. But, the human heart is wicked. unless our hearts yield to God, nothing will change. The way that seems good to us will only endure for a season. Mother theresa said "Works of love are works of peace". If everyone followed her example of walking with the savior in the lives of others- humbling themselves- oh what a world it would be.new cd releases
