I'm taking an environmental science class and we have to do a 10 minute presentation on any subject matter of our choosing. I've been going through articles and just feel so overwhelmed. Everything is just giving me a headache. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good subject? Something specific would be great. My problem now is that everything I've been looking at is so broad. I need to narrow the subject down. Thanks for your help!Really need help with subject matter environmental science?endangered animals is a good topic. maybe you could show some of the recently extinct animals and a brief description on why. also show ones in very low numbers and how there being killed off(global warming, hunted, ect) you may also want to show animals that have maid a turn around from endangerment like the bald eagle or the manatee. good luck with your reportReally need help with subject matter environmental science? What about focusing on an environmental hazard (natural or technological) and how it impacted a specified area. For example, how did hurricane Katrina have on the populations of the major cities to where refugees evacuated.Really need help with subject matter environmental science?Maybe choose a specific industry that has a negative affect on the environment. Explain the industry and what it does, how it affects the environment, and then suggest ways it could improve. An example that comes to my mind is palm oil farming. Huge tracts of rainforest in Indonesia are being converted into palm oil plantations, and palm oil is in almost everything that you buy! Check out this link for more info:

Another "bad" industry is corn, specifically genetically modified corn. If you can check out the book "Harvest for Hope" by Jane Goodall there is a huge section in it about GMO corn with references in the back.
Just some thoughts...good luck :)Really need help with subject matter environmental science?
Yes, its very broad and interdisciplinary.
What kinds of things are you interested in personally?
Economics? Social science? Pollution? Biodiversity? Chemistry? Biology? Climate change? Conservation? Natural resources? Waste management? Sustainable development?
Maybe if you choose something you already have an interest in, it will come easier.
