Really need help with subject matter environmental science?

I'm taking an environmental science class and we have to do a 10 minute presentation on any subject matter of our choosing. I've been going through articles and just feel so overwhelmed. Everything is just giving me a headache. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good subject? Something specific would be great. My problem now is that everything I've been looking at is so broad. I need to narrow the subject down. Explain the industry and what it does, how it affects the environment, and then suggest ways it could improve. An example that comes to my mind is palm oil farming. Another "bad" industry is corn, specifically genetically modified corn. If you can check out the book "Harvest for Hope" by Jane Goodall there is a huge section in it about GMO corn with references in the back.

What kinds of things are you interested in personally?



Economics? Social science? Pollution? Biodiversity? Chemistry? Biology? Climate change? Conservation? Natural resources? Waste management? Sustainable development?



Maybe if you choose something you already have an interest in, it will come easier.
