What are the current political and environmental issues in Jacksonville, FL?

just a general list of things...

like for example in LA where current ongoing problems include the thick cloud of smog covering the city as well as the constant power shortage we experience.

i'm not for Jacksonville so i really wouldn't know where to start my research from.

help please? What are the current political and environmental issues in Jacksonville, FL?Competition in job market is nearly impossible. Old people get their claws on jobs and will not allow young energetic individuals to get jobs fearing that they'll loose theirs.

Absolutely no existence of entertainments. Nothing gets the approval of senior citizens in this town. Many clubs got shut down, the beaches are dead, no boardwalks, music or even walking your dog is allowed on the beach. The beach water is so polluted that they ask people not to swim in the ocean.

No fine dinning and no good shops. They mostly carry grandma fashion if u know what i mean.

They also use their sewage water for irrigation so when you go walk outside at nights you can smell sewage every where.

crappy schools and colleges. they mostly cover majors like welding, typing or medical filing instead of science and engineering.

And on top of all that the cost of living here is very very expensive compare to the earnings. low pays and high prices. For example the price of monthly utility is way higher than big cities like LA or NY. and they charge you monthly for the amount of rain. I know that sounds stupid but its true. The more it rains in a month the more you have got to pay at the end of the month and they call the charge " storm water drainage".
