Anyways, I was bored and will give you the answers.

1. A wetland is an area of land consisting of soil that is saturated with moisture, such as a swamp, marsh, or bog.

2. Wetlands support and preserve a prevalence of vegetations typically adapted for life in saturated soils.

3. Basically the same as the above, except without wetlands to preserve this soil, well, the vegetation would die, wouldn't it?

4. i dont feel like doing this one.

5. Changes to hydrology, geochemistry, substrate, or species composition may impair the ability of a wetland area to function properly. Such alterations can affect the ability of the wetland area to act as a filter for excess sedimentation and nutrients, which can result in deteriorated surface water quality.

6. Many wetland preservation companies are taking action, such as: THE PROTECTION OF WETLANDS AND RIPARIAN AREAS -- The purpose of this management measure is to maintain the water quality benefits of wetlands and riparian areas and to ensure that they do not in turn become a source of nonpoint pollution due to degradation.
