Environmental Triage?

So, I've been thinking, and I've been wondering- how should we classify environmental "problems?" Should we?

It's obvious that some environmental problems are more important then others, but how do you decide? Human health? Future generations? Permanency?

Your thoughts would be appreciated :)Environmental Triage? The environmental issues we face today are simply to numerous and important to be addressed as individual problems, they are multi-disciplinary and can only be solved as such. It is my belief that in order for us to move ahead with positive results we must first somehow change the mindset of the International community as a whole, from one that lets us believe the earth can recover from mankind鈥檚 abuse on its own, to one that lets us believe that the earth needs our help.Environmental Triage? The issues you mention are all interlinked. We are going to damage human health if we don't protect the environment. Future generations will be poorer in terms of health, money, natural wonder etc if we don't look after the environment. We have stewardship over this planet. Our interests are interwoven into the planet's and nature. We need to start thinking that environmental protection is our "self interest" rather than an altruistic thing we do when time/resources permit.
