Our problems with the environment?

Do u think that ppl would listen more about preserving the environment if politicians, and newscasters would provide attractive alternatives instead of diasters about environmental problems...Our problems with the environment?again... u have to scare them for anything to get done in life...nothing else will work. look at gas prices,.. they went up and less ppl drove and polluted...Our problems with the environment?
No, because our environment is fine.Our problems with the environment?Aren't you enjoying the nice weather outside? finally we've got a chance to have more outdoor activities rather than couped up depressed all year round in the rain.



There are more outdoor cafes, healthier lifestyles, great tempreture where we don't all have to jet to 50 degrees Spain/SF in the summer, that will save on flights which will save the planet (god works in mysterious ways).Our problems with the environment?
No, but appealing to the people's bottom line (their pockets) will accomplish more. Perhaps a tax incentive to trade in the old gas guzzler's for more fuel efficient cars. But don't forget that Big Oil wants to sell more gasoline, not less.Our problems with the environment?If products like solar panels were more affordable, people probably would rather use alternative forms of energy.



Then when you have money making opportunists like Al Gore trying to scare everyone into believing the "greenhouse gas" theory, businesses will increase the price on their eco-friendly products.



Yes, we do have a problem with land, air, and water pollution.

But the only thing governments want to do is increase taxes and make new taxes on the energy sources we are currently using, versus spending any money on filtering the water that is pumped back into the rivers or oceans.
