After volcanic eruptions if CO2 gets trapped in low lying pockets if someone is also trapped in it it can cause death if the concentration is over 30% and unconciousness over 15%.

Yeah there is highly likely chance that we will experience atmospheric collapse and oxygen depletion.
Too much CO2 is being trapped everywhere and this toxic chemical is causing imbalance to the natural system.
You can attribute various illnesses that people suffer nowadays to CO2 whether its the headaches, tiredness, chronic fatigue, depression and whatever else.
http://www.theyfly.com/Atmospheric_Colla鈥?/a>What effects do increasing rates of carbon dioxide and methane have besides climate change?I believe very high levels can cause problems but, at the levels we are likely to encounter in the near future, there are no direct problems from CH4 or CO2. I'm not an expert; I could be wrong on this and I'm sure there are many here who could correct me if this is required.
It's the indirect consequences from the warming that give cause for concern. What effects do increasing rates of carbon dioxide and methane have besides climate change?
I don't know either, but methane can be collected and burned as a fuel (producing CO2). If CO2 is a problem then what we need maybe is more trees or the likes of clover which is good at converting CO2 back to O, and also good at fixing nitrogen in the soil. What effects do increasing rates of carbon dioxide and methane have besides climate change?CO2 is fertilizer to plants. So plants will grow better with higher levels of CO2. Note that the earth is at historically low levels for CO2 in the air. It's currently about 385ppm but it has been over 6000ppm in the past. What effects do increasing rates of carbon dioxide and methane have besides climate change?
i know methane is toxic... :S
if that helps
to humans i mean
