The worlds population is growing faster than ever. All of our environmental problems would be easier to deal with if there were fewer people. There was a lot of talk about overpopulation in the '60s and '70s. But now nobody seems to talk about it. Why?Why is it that almost nobody talks about overpopulation any more?You're right. Overpopulation is a big problem, but people consider it a taboo subject.



It can be likened burying your head in the sand. If we don't talk about it, maybe it'll go away.



Records show the world's population is currently expanding by around 82 million people a year, the result of 138.7 million births less 56.7 million deaths. That's almost 2陆 births for every death. More than 1陆 million extra people are added to our planet each week, or nearly 10,000 every hour.

It doesn't matter how many people are on the planet, if we don't get the pollution and global warming fiasco in hand then the population will drop to 0. Its a bit of a vicious circle in that it has no beginning or end.Why is it that almost nobody talks about overpopulation any more?The solutions are more taboo than sending Mexicans back to mexico.Why is it that almost nobody talks about overpopulation any more?
